Adopt a Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)

Our gorgeous Addi is looking for her forever home. We're not sure of her back story but she spent eight long months in a shelter in GA before being rescued. Becasue of this she's a little unsure around new people but once she trusts you she gives you her full heart, soul and paw!

Addi is a 2 year old Shepherd mix on the small side. Full grown she only weighs approximately 30 lbs! A pocket Shep! She would do best in a calm household so probably one without children or lots of visitors. She LOVES other dogs and would really like a fur sibling. She walks well on a leash and is house broken. She doesn't like to be crated, but doesn't need to be either. She is not destructive in the home when left alone. She carries her blanket everywhere she goes and loves to snuggle up with her foster fur brothers. Addi does have a high prey drive so no cats or other small animals please. Addi loves to play, but the majority of the time she is suuuuper chill. She’s perfectly fine just being lazy on the couch with her people and pups.

Addi is spayed and current on her vaccines. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will remain in her foster home in GA until she's found her forever home. She will be available for adoption in March so be sure to apply today! Addi can be transported to MD or NJ for her forever family. 

~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home.
